Just found three share certificates issued to my deceased grandfather.
Matinenda Uranium Mines Limited Jan.25, 1956
Cathroy Larder Mines Limited Nov. 12, 1943
Dama Gold Mines Limited Sep. 28,1942

Joyce, from the information I have available:

Matinenda has no value - the company had its charter cancelled in 1959.

Cathroy has no value - the company was dissolved in the 1970's.

I have no information on Dama Gold. Considering the great age of the certificate, I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a detailed search for you.
