Question
Mr Taylor
I am holding stocks in "Golden Crescent Resources Corp" and "Sugarloaf Mineral Resources LTD"...are they worth anything, if so how would I redeem them?????

Answer
Frank, I have no information on Golden Crescent, although I have been asked about the stock several times before. That suggests there are a lot of old certificates floating around. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first. You could also contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.

Sugarloaf has gone though a very twisted path. It has changed names numerous times, and also undergone at least 4 reverse splits (a 1 for 10, then another 1 for 10, then a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 4). Due to those reverses, 1 new share would be 2000 Sugarloaf shares. In the end, it became Caspian Oil Tools, which was cease-traded in 2000 and does not seem to have resumed trading.
