I have held 160 shares  in Gulfstream Resources since 1981 and can find no information on them. All letters sent to Transfer Agent & Registar  National Trust Company Ltd. Toronto have been returned. I live in UK.
Have these shares any value please?

Susan, from the information I have available, the company was acquired by Anadarko in 2001 for $2.65 cash per share. If you did not receive the cash, the money would have been turned over to the government for safekeeping waiting for you to claim it. Depending on which government received it, it might still be there. You need to search every missing property department for each place in which you lived from the time you acquired the shares until the takeover. I am not sure what the situation is in the UK, but here in North America we can search many of them online for free at www.missingmoney.com and www.naupa.org.
