Is stock issues in June 1949 from Splendore Mining & Development Co. LTD or Petromine Exploration & Finance Co LTD., still exchangeable? Or have the companies been disbanded?

Keith, I have no information on Splendore. For Petromine, they became Nationwide Minerals (1 new share for 2 old) which was later dissolved with no value to shareholders.

For Splendore, you can try contacting the transfer agent (if there is one), but chances are due to the great age of the certificate that is not available. You can contact the Province of Incorporation (listed on the certificate) and see what information they have, or contact a broker and ask them to perform a detailed search for you.
