McCuaig Red Lake Gold Mines
Miles (Red Lake) Mines Limited
Laddie Gold Mines Limited
Dubuisson Goldfields Limited and
Dubuisson Explorations Limited
Many thanks, Jim

Answer
Jim, from the information I have available:

McCuaig Red Lake appears to have gone out of business and has no value.

Miles (Red Lake) merged with Antelope Resources on a 1 for 20 basis in 1989, which was later dissolved in the 1990's. No value for shareholders.

Dubuisson Goldfield became Dubuisson Explorations after a 1 for 20 reverse split. They probably sent the new certificate and did not require the old one to be sent back, which is why your father had both. Dubisson was slapped with cease-trade orders in 1983, which remain active. So, it appears they never fixed thier problems and the shares have no value.

Laddie is the only one which may have value. The Company merged with 9 other companies in 1982 and became Goldquest Explorations on the basis of 1 Goldquest share for every 15.22 Laddie. Goldquest merged into Dickenson Mines on the basis of 1 Dickenson for every 20 Goldquest shares. Dickenson later merged into Goldcorp on a 1 for 1 basis. Goldcorp trades for about $45 a share on the NYSE. You will need to contact the current agent for Goldcorp, CIBC Mellon (www.cibcmellon.com# to see if the old certificate is valid #it is possible, like the Dubuisson, they sent the new certificates without requiring the old ones back) and, if so, if it can be exchanged for Goldcorp shares.
