Question
I have just come across some paper stocks from my Father-in -law ... 2500 shares of Thorn Hill Gold Mines Ltd. from 1946 and 100 shares of Bosquet Gold Mines Ltd. from 1935 ... any ideas how I should track these down for valuation (if any) ... thanks for any help

Answer
From the information I have available, Thorn Hill has no current value. It did a 1 for 10 reverse split and became Landmark Mines, which was dissolved in 1972.

I don't have any information on Bosquet Gold Mines. If there is a transfer agent on the certificate, try contacting them first. You can also try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available, or contact a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you.
