Question
Came across some old mining shares.  Many different company names.  They are as follows:  Coxhealth Gold Holdings Ltd, Louisburg Property Holdings Ltd, Canabec Explorations Ltd, Frodac Consolidated Energy Resources Ltd, and Petroline Explorers Inc.  These shares range from 1978 - 1986.  Are any of these companies still active?

Answer
Kathy, from the information I have available:

Coxheath was suspended, cease-traded and delisted in 1991.

I have no information on Louisburg.

Canabec went through numerous name changes and reverse splits (a 1 for 10, then a massive 1 for 150) and became Eco Technologies, which was suspended, cease-traded and delisted in 2001.

Frodac did a 1 for 6 reverse split and eventually became Venga Aerospace, which currently trades for about 1 cent on the TSX Venture. You need to contact the current transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) about your old certificates.

Petroline became Moducan Building Systems, which was cease-traded in 1991.
