I'm looking for some information on old stock certificates.  Skomac Mines Limited, Olympus Mines Limited, Ganda Silver Mines Limited, and Venture Properties Limited.  Thanks so much.

Tracey, from the information I have available:

The Olympus and the Ganda have no value. Both Companies were dissolved in the 1970's.

Venture did a 1 for 10 reverse stock split and became Buckingham International Holdings. Buckingham was cease-traded by the Province of Alberta in 1993, and that order remains in effect, which suggests there is no current market for the stock.

I have no information on Skomac. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first. If they are unavailable, try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have on file. Or, contact a broker and see if they can perform a detailed search for you.
