hiI have stock certificates from the Farcroft  Mines Ltd, Guardian Mines and Galkeno Mines ltd. Is there any value attributed to these or just pretty paper? thanks J Elson

Julie, from the information I have available:

Farcroft has no value. It had its charter cancelled in the 1960's.

Guardian had several name changes and two reverse splits (a 1 for 10, then a 1 for 3) and became Ridgepoint Mineral Corp in the mid-1990's. I have no further information on that one. I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can find any additional information.

Galkeno became Canadian Northwest Mines which went out of business and had its charter cancelled in the late 1960's.
