Question
Hi Steve, I hope you are able to help. My father has asked me to find out some information regarding some stock he purchased in the 1970's. He has 500 shares of both Golden Bounty Mining Corporation Ltd. (sold by EEA Manning LTD) and Ridgemar Explorations and Development Company LTD.

Do you know if either of these stocks have any value and if so what would be our next step.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review my question, I look forward to hearing from you .

Answer
Barry, from the information I have available:

Golden Bounty went through several name changes and is now Enterprise Energy. However, with the name changes, they also did 3 reverse stock splits. Those were a 1 for 8, followed by another 1 for 8, then a 1 for 30. Those splits would have wiped out your father's original 500 shares. However, you should check with the current transfer agent, Equity Transfer (www.equitytransfer.com).

For Ridgemar, I know they did a 1 for 2 reverse and became Jaridge Exploration. I have no additional info on Jaridge, although I have been asked about it numerous times, which is not a good sign. I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a detailed search and find anything else on Jaridge.
