Question
I have several old stock certificates aquired by my grandfather in the 1950's and 60's.  Could you please advise as to their current worth.  They are as follows:
1)  Great Yellowstone Corporation  (Nevada,USA)
2)  Consolidated Ribago Mines Limited  (Toronto , Can.)
3)  Lomega Gold Mines Limited (Crown Trust, Toronto , Can.)

Answer
Richard, I have no information on Great Yellowstone's ultimate fate, as it was a US corporation and I only have information on Canadian companies. However, I believe those are worthless, as Great Yellowstone was part of a stock/accounting fraud in the late 1970's. However, you should consult a broker on that one. The share certificate might have value to collectors as well.

Consolidated Ribago has no value - the company went out of business and had its charter cancelled in the 1970's.

Same for Lomega - it had its charter cancelled in the 1960's.
