25 years ago I bought 1000 shares of a stock called     FMG TELE CMPTR LTD Do you know if they are still lin business?

Jim, from the information I have available, the company went through at least 6 name changes and ended as Powerchannel. Powerchannel was a Delaware Corporation and was registered with the SEC until 2008 when they voluntarily terminated registration. Never a good sign. I don't have any information on what happened to them after that, so I suggest you contact a broker and see what they can find for you.
