My Grandfather purchased stock in MALARTIC HYGRADE GOLD MINES (CANADA) LTD. Probably in the 1980's. He has long passed away and my Grandmother is 101 years old. We are trying to figure out if there is any value to these certificates Thank  You          Jeff

Jeff, from the information I have available, Malartic Hygrade changed its name to Republic Goldfields. Republic had some issues and was suspended and delisted in 2001. However, the Company did not go away. Last week, they issued a news release that said they intend to try to reactivate and resume trading. For more information, you can contact:
