I have a share certificate issued by Guaranty Trust Company of Canada  on Feb 8th 1979, for Woodsreef Minerals Ltd (incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta).  Could you help me with the history of this company since then?

Sharon, the information I have available is somewhat conflicting on this company. I believe it did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became Transpacific Asbestos, then Transpacific Resources. I believe it was delisted, but I am not sure what became of it afterwards. I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
