Question
DEAR STEVEN, I OWN SOME OLD STOCK CERTIFICATES AND CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANY INFO ON THE COMPANY WHATSOEVER. THE NAME OF THE COMPANY ON THE STOCK CERTIFICATE IS "CORPORATE OIL AND GAS LIMITED". THEY WERE INCORPORATED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF MANITOBA. THESE STOCKS WERE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED 07/18/1985 THRU CANARIM INVESTMENT CORPORATION LTD. ANY INFO YOU CAN PROVIDE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME. DAVID.

Answer
From the information I have available, it appears the shares might have some current value.

The Company went through several name changes - to Charlie O Beverages, then to Charlie O Company, before being delisted by the Vancouver Stock Exchange in the early 1990's. The Company then reincorporated in the United States and became Sooner Holdings in Oklahoma. The Company is still there. It trades on the OTCBB for about 18 cents per share under the symbol SOON. You can contact them at:

127 Northwest 62nd Street, Suite A
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 848-7575

As a fully reporting company, you can also obtain more information on EDGAR at the SEC website at www.sec.gov.
