ANSWER: From the information I have available, the shares have no current value. The Company was dissolved in 1984, and shareholders received no value.

Arnie, from the information I have available:

There were two companies named Pine Point Mines at the same time, but incorporated in different jurisdictions. Check your certificate to see which one you have.

I have no information on Spur Petroleums.

Laredo became Pedco Energy, then merged into International Pedco on the basis of 1 old share for 0.41425 new shares. That became Lateral Vector on the basis of 1 old for 0.994 new shares. Lateral was acquired in 2001 for 11 cents cash per share. If the shares are in your name and you did not receive the cash, you need to check to see if it was turned over to the government for safekeeping. Try www.naupa.org and www.missingmoney.com and check all the states and provinces in which you lived from the time you first bought the shares until the buyout.
