Question
I found 100 shares of St. Fabian Copper Mines Limited in my fathers belongins.  Looks like they were issued in Jan. 1968.  The certificate says it was incorporated under the Quebec Mining Companies Act.  Registered by International Trust Company, Toronto, Montreal.  Whats the history of the company?...  was the company sold?...  Thanks.

Answer
From the information I have available, it appears there is no current value to the shares. They went through several name changes and at least 1 reverse stock split - a 1 for 4 - and became Fabien Explorations. Fabien was cease-traded in 1984, and that cease-trade order remains in effect.
