Question
In clearing out files I found a certificate for 1,000 shares in Java Joe's International Corporation. Through research on the internet I've found a section in Aug'2002 AGM meeting material that indicates upon completion of sale & the change of name of Java to Joe's Capital J Corporation Inc., Java shareholders would be issued new shares - 1 for every 10 Java. I can't find any information on the new corporation. Are our old Java shares worth anything in the new corp - should we have been sent new shares?
Thanks for your help.

Answer
Lois, I have no information that the reverse split and name change ever occurred. Java Joe's was cease-traded and delisted, and those cease-trade orders remain in effect. Java stopped its regulatory reporting in 2002, and I see no resumption under the new name.

I suggest you contact the last known transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) and see what information they may have available.
