I found an old stock certificate telling me I have 500 shares in Gogama Resources which I bought in 1987. I'd like to know if it has any value.

Unfortunately, I have no current information on Gogama other than it was slapped with a cease-trade order in Ontario in 1989, and that order remains in effect today. That suggests there is no trading in the stock.

If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first to see what information they have. Or, contact a broker and see what they can find for you.
