Hi there,

My wife has just found and old stock certificate for 10,000 shares of The Mountain Creek Gold Fields, Inc, dated May 9th, 1982. The certificates reads "no personal liability and not subject to call" and "Incorporated under the Quebec Mining Companies Act"
We are wondering if they have any value and if you could advice us on how to research the certificate.

Unfortunately, I have no information on the company at all. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first, as they will know if your certificate has any current value. You could also try contacting Quebec as the Province of Incorporation and see what info they have available. Or, contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
