we came across papers of my dads for 100 shares in Malartic Hygrade Gold Mines Limited which previously had been Lavandin mining company. These date back to 3/18/58 and have various papers including quarterly reports for 1982. Do these have any value presently

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears to have no current value. The company changed its name to Republic Goldfields, which ran into serious trouble around 2001. The Company was suspended, delisted, and cease-traded in 2005. They stopped filing their required regulatory information at that time, and the cease-trade orders remain in effect.
