Question
I recently found an old stock certificate for Geneva Capital Ventures Inc.  It's dated March, 1975.  According to the paperwork in dad's file, this started originally as Revere Mining Corp. Limited and in 1971 sold to Stackpool Enterprises Limited and then in Dec., 1972 they had a name change to Geneva Capital Ventures, Inc.  I have nothing else in the file except the actual stock cert. which was sent by United Trust Co of Montreal, Quebec.

Answer
I have no information on that company beyond 1975 when the Quebec Securities Commission shut the company down as part of a suspected stock fraud. There was a good newspaper article which you can find online here:

Mr. Rosen's history makes for interesting reading, especially as he was tied to Irving Kott, who himself has a long history with securities regulators in both Canada and the U.S.

I don't have any information that the company ever resumed trading after the regulatory actions.
