We have shares in Veronex Resources Ltd. In 1989 we received a letter of a takeover of Richport Resources Ltd. stock to Veronex. We did the transfer but since then have not received any further information.  I see that Central Guaranty Trust Co. is no longer in business, so do you know how we can get information in regards to this shares? Thank you in advance.

Margaret, Veronex later did a 1 for 7 reverse split and became International Veronex, which later changed its name to Veronex Technology. Veronex delisted in Canada and began trading exclusively on the OTCBB in the US, but they stopped their required SEC reporting in 2001 and were automatically delisted from the OTCBB shortly thereafter. They began trading on the Pink Sheets and seem to have just faded away.

I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
