Question
I have old mining stocks that I'd like to know if they have any value. Boswell River Mines and Orlac Red Lake Mines were registered through Guaranty Trust of Canada as well Mill Creek Oil Company was counter signed through Prudential Trust Company. Any information you can find would be much appreciated-Thanks Russ Percy

Answer
Russ, from the information I have available:

Boswell did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became B.R. Resources, which later had its charter struck from the corporate register. No value.

Orlac did a 1 for 2 reverse, then a 1 for 6 reverse, and became Abbican. Abbican was dissolved in 1964. No current value.

I have no information on Mill Creek Oil. If there is a transfer agent on the certificate, you need to contact them first. If not, try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available. Or, contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
