I friend has a share certificate for 2000 shares of Mundee Mines dated March 14, 1989. Is there any current value?

Unfortunately, I do not believe there is any current value. The company did a 1 for 3 reverse split and became AGM Capital, which later became Dueling Grounds. Dueling Grounds acquired racetracks in Kentucky and later a music company. Turns out they were involved in bribing public officials for the tracks and then bought the music company through fraud. The Company was suspended, cease-traded and delisted, and those orders remain in effect.
