Canadian Stocks/Old Shares

Question
We recently found a number of shares in my fathers safety deposit box. They were issued in 1956 and 1958 by Studer Gold Mines Ltd. Studer was incorporated in Saskatchewan, Canada. Are they worth anything?

Answer
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no current value. The Company became Studer Mines, but eventually the company was deleted from DTC as inactive and without transfer facilities, which only happens when a company is long gone and can no longer be traded.
