I have an application from Guaranty Trust dated in 1983.  The details identified Ontario Hydro Bonds with a maturity date of 14-05-2010.  I would like to know if these coupons were redeemed or there is additional outstanding amounts to be redeemed.

Marie, I have no information on those bonds, as I do not have the required information available to track bonds. Since Ontario Hydro is long gone and split into many smaller companies years ago, it is even more difficult to track those bonds. I think your best approach is to contact a broker and see if they can determine what happened to that specific series of bonds. You could also try contacting one of the successor companies and see if they have any information available. The most accessible would be Hydro One or Ontario Power Generation Inc.
