Question
I recently found an old certificate from Minedel Mines Limited dated October 7 1948 in a box and was wondering if it was worth anything.Thank You

Answer
Ken, from the information I have available:

The Company has gone through numerous name changes and reverse stock splits. I believe it is currently LiveReel Media, which trades on the US OTCBB for about 2 cents per share. As a fully-reporting US filer, you can find more in the EDGAR database at www.sec.gov.

The current transfer agent is Equity Transfer (www.equitytransfer.com). You need to contact them to see if the certificate has value. However, if you found it in a box and cannot prove proper transfer of the shares to your name from the prior owner, you don't have ownership. Certificates are not bearer instruments. You need to consult with the agent on that matter as well.

Good luck.
