My step dad passed away and he left me an envelope with some papers inside.  I cam across some Stock certificates for Swansea Gold Mines Inc. - 300 shares dated March 3rd, 1978.  This was handled by Rosmar Corporation Limited in Toronto for him.  Any idea if these are worth anything today?

Unfortunately, I have little information on Swansea. The fact that it was a Rosmar stock is a very bad sign, and the stock was cease-traded by Ontario in 1994. That cease-trade order remains in effect today, which strongly suggests there is no current market and no current value.
