Found a trunk full of mining history in ontario. There is a book of stock certificates in the name of INTERNATIONAL GOLD MINES, LTD.  President was Laurence Jefferson. Unable to find any info. Hope you can help. Thank You

Kelly, I don't have any information on that company, although it probably predates most of the information I have available.

If it is a book of stock certificates, it sounds like the Company's issue book. Those certificates would be unissued. In the old days, when a company sold additional shares, the Corporate Secretary and President would record the buyer, sign the certificate, and hand the buyer the cert. If you do have a book of unissued certificates, it might be of serious interest to collectors. Old certificates are in demand as art from collectors, but vintage issue books are rare. I suggest you try searching the potential value on the internet - try "stock certificate collecting" or "scripophily" (the technical name for collecting stock certificates)
