Question
Steve,
My family has 103 shares of Mayo Mines Limited and 34 1/3 shares of Maybrun Mines Ltd.  Is there any value there?
I appreciate your answer in advance

Stuart Clark

Answer
Stuart, the Mayo and the Maybrun are one and the same. Mayo did a 1 for 3 reverse split and became Maybrun. Chances are the Transfer agent just sent the new certificate of Maybrun and cancelled the Mayo on their books.

I have been asked about Maybrun quite often, and I don't have a definitive answer about what happened to it. Maybrun became Consolidated Maybrun Mines, and although it does not appear they trade anywhere, they might still be around. I did find numerous references to Consolidated Maybrun, and even an address and phone number:

Consolidated Maybrun Mines Ltd
1814-150 York Street
Toronto
Ontario
M5H 3S5
Canada

(416) 363-4477

I don't know if it is exactly the same company, or even if the above information is valid, but try it and see.
