Question
Hello
I have an old certificate labeled "HIGH POINT MINES LIMITED  (N.P.L.)" for 900 shares dated Mar. 27, 1972
It lists Transhare as the registered holder.
Canada Trust is identified as the transfer agent & registrar.
My father had this and we found it after he passed away.
Any idea what this is.

Thanks
Deane

Answer
From the information I have available, the company has undergone several name changes and reverse stock splits and is now Silver Standard, which trades on the TSX and NASDAQ for about $22.50 per share. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) to inquire about your old certificate and see what they can find for you.
