I have come across some old stock certificates in a file folder.  They are from Triller Explorations Limited, Viking Yellowknife Gold Mines Limited and Gan Copper Mines Limited.  Years purchased were 1968 and 1964 respectively.  Are they valid and worth anything?  Thank you.

Gail, from the information I have available:

The Triller shares have no value. The Company had its charter cancelled.

I have no information on the current status of Viking Yellowknife Gold. There is a Viking Yellowknife Gold Limited that has property in Canada, but the stock is non-traded, and I don't know if it is the same one as you have (there are often multiple companies with the same name that are incorporated in different provinces at different times). I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can find any additional information.

Gan Copper has no value. It had its charter cancelled in the 1970's.
