Hi Steven - As executor of my parent's estate, I have found the following stock certificates and am not sure whether they are worth anything.  They are:

Platinova Resources Ltd. (continued under the laws of the Province of Ontario) 1000 shares (Montreal Trust Company of Canada) issued on December 13, 1991

B.Y.G. Natural Resources Inc (incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario)8000 shares (RM Trust Company) issued on December 13, 1996

Bridge-It Corporation (incorporated under the Canada Business Corporation Act) 100 shares (Montreal Trust Company of Canada) issued on December 23, 1994

Irish Energy, Oil & Minerals Inc. (incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario) 1500 shares (The Canada Trust Company) issued on January 22, 1981

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, all those certificates have no current value.

Platinova was suspended, delisted and cease-traded in 2003.

BYG was suspended, delisted and cease-traded in 1999.

Bridge-It was suspended, delisted and cease-traded in 2000.

Irish Energy changed names several times but was ultimately dissolved in 1990. No value for shareholders.
