Question
I have a shoe box with some stock certificates, my father had bought years ago are the worth anything?  Inter-link  communications,  Pipedreams MFG inc,  Tyee Lake resources  LTD,  Thanking you inadvance,             Don

Answer
From the information I have available:

Pipedreams and Interlink are the same company. Pipedreams did a 1 for 3 reverse split and became Interlink, which later did a further 1 for 5 reverse split, then later became Parton Capital. Parton was later supsended and delisted in 2002, and I don't believe the stock ever was ever to solve its problems and resume trading.

Tyee did multiple reverse splits (a 1 for 3, then a 1 for 5, another 1 for 5, and a further 1 for 5) and became Grand Banks Energy. Grand Banks was acquired in 2008 for $2.90 cash per share.

If a check never arrived for your father in 2008 for the acquisition, you need to search the missing property office of every State or Province in which your father lived from the time he first acquired the certificate until the acquisition. You can search many of them online for free at www.missingmoney.com and www.naupa.org.
