Question
My mother has several shares of an old Canadian company called Ameranium Mines Limited. I ran across a filing that reported the name was changed to Jamestown Explorations Limited in 1972. Like so many others whose questions are listed here, I'd like to know if the stock is worth anything. Thank you!

Paul, from the information I have available, the shares have no current value. Jamestown Explorations did a 1 for 4 reverse split and become Jamestown Resources. The stock didn't seem to last long, as it was slapped with cease-trade orders from both Ontario and Quebec in 1983. Those orders remain in effect today.
