Question
I have located several old stock certificates and wonder if they have any value.  The first few are Mar-Jon oil company for 3,600 shares.  Transfer agent is Prudential Trust Company and Incorporated under the "Companies Act" of the Dominion of Canada.  Dated and signed in Vancouver, BC is 1937

I also have certificates for Hudson Patricia Gold Mines 1936 (Chartered Trust and Executor Company- Companies Act Ontario)

Winoga Patricia Gold Mines 1939
Chartered Trust and Executor Company - Ontario Companies Act

Any help would greatly be apprecitated!!!
Thanks

Answer
Shelly, from the information I have available:

I have no information on Mar-Jon, although 1937 predates much of the information I have available. Usually when searching for value in old companies, you would contact the transfer agent first, but Prudential is long gone. I already checked the Canada corporations database and there is no information there, so you might try contacting a broker and seeing if they can perform a detailed search for you.

Hudson Patricia has no current value. The Company had its charter cancelled in the early 1960's.

Winoga Patricia has no current value. The Company had its charter cancelled in the late 1950's.
