Question
I have the paper certificates for 3000 shares of World Wide Interactive Disk and 1300 shares of Westhope Capitcal Corp.  Are they worth anything and if so how do I go about selling them?  I want to get rid of them so I can recognize the loss.

Answer
Jeff, from the information I have available:

World Wide did a 1 for 20 reverse stock split and became World Wide Inc., which is still around but the stock is not currently traded anywhere. The most recent contact information for the Company is:

360 Bay Street
Suite 500
Toronto, Ontario
M5H 2V6

Westhope did a 1 for 10 reverse split and is now EPM Mining, which trades on the TSX Venture for about $1.20 per share. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Equity Financial (www.equityfinancialtrust.com/) to get your old shares reorganized so you can sell them.
