I have a small number of Canwest Global shares from 1998/99. Are they worth anything?

Doug, as you probably know, Canwest collapsed and its assets were sold off. The majority of the money went to creditors and debt holders, but a small portion ($11 million) was reserved for shareholders. That money was distributed to shareholder in October 2010. If you did not receive your check, I suggest you contact the transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) and inquire.
