Question
I found some old stocks/shares in my dad's workshop and would like to know if they are worth anything.   They are as follows:

6 numbered honorary Toronto Stock Exchange certificates (honoring the first day of trading at the new premises at the Exchange Tower

Gozlan Brothers Limited shares
OSF Industries Limited shares
Rouyn Exploration Limited shares

thanks for any insight you can offer!!

Answer
Christine, from the information I have available:

Gozlan has no value. The Company went bankrupt in the mid-1970's.

OSF also went bankrupt in the mid-1970's. No value.

I have no information on Rouyn Exploration. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first. You can also try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available, or contact a broker and ask them to perform a detailed search for you.

The TSE certificates are likely just novelty souvenirs. They may have value to collectors - you should try searching online.
