Question
back in the early 1980's I had about 16 shares in UGG. I have moved several times losing contact. Are those shares worth anything. They were of th non voting type.

Answer
Duane, UGG became Agricore United, which was subsequently acquired by Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in 2007 for $20.50 per share cash.

Because it was an all-cash takeover, you should have received a check in 2007. If you did not, then the money would have been turned over to the government for safekeeping until you either claimed it or the deadline for holding the cash ran out. You can search many of the missing property offices online for free at www.missingmoney.com and www.naupa.org (check both databases, as they have different participants).
