Hi Steven....you were recommended to me by Patricia at Richardsons.
We are cleaning out an elderly relatives home and found a certificate for 130 shares of Trans America Industries Ltd. (incorporated in the Province of BC)The date of purchase is June 16,1975. Wallpaper ?

Barry, from the information I have available, Trans America did a 1 for 2 reverse stock split and became Primary Corp, which later had a further 1 for 5 share consolidation. Primary currently trades for about $5.65 on the TSX. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) about confirming if the old shares are valid and, if so, having the old shares reorganized into the new ones.
