Question
Hi

I have some old mining certificates and would like to know if they hold any value and any other information that would be of interest.

1. key anacon mines limited. date on it is may 10, 1965
2. fab metal mines dated March 8, 1965
3. tribag mining co, limited dated December 23,1965

thanks you very much for considering my request.

Answer
Ted, from the information I have available:

Key Anacon went private in January 1999. Shareholders received $1.65 per share cash.

Fab Metal has no value. Tt had its charter cancelled in the 1970's.

Tribag went through numerous name changes and reverse splits (1 for 5, 0.6 for 1, 1 for 3# and became Unicorp Inc. In 2002, shareholders were recapitalized on the basis of a $25 debenture #due 2050) for each 4 common shares held. At that time, Unicorp seems to have ceased reporting in Canada but was a full SEC reporter in the US. Unicorp later became Striker Oil and Gas, but they stopped filing in 2008 as I believe they ran into serious financial trouble and had little funds to continue.
