Question
When my father passed away, we found stock certificates from Krefeld Graphite Gold Mines Limited, incorporated in the Province of Ontario. The stock was purchased in 1951. I have done some research and believe there was a transfer of claims to Feld Temagami Mines Ltd. Do these stocks have any value. Thank you

Answer
Gerry, from the information I have available, the shares have no current value. The Company had its charter cancelled in the mid-1970's.

Claims change hands frequently. Due to the costs of holding claims, they are often dropped and then restaked by other companies, or joint-ventured, optioned or outright sold. It is not unusual to see claims in established countries, such as Canada, being explored today that have been held by 10 or more different companies or individuals over the last century.
