Question
QUESTION: Hello,
I found a stock certificate for the Anthonian Mining Corporation Limited dated 1950.  How can I determine if it has any value?  Any help will be appreciated.

ANSWER: Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no current value. The Company had its charter cancelled in 1982.

QUESTION: Thank you for the information.  I have about 10 mining stock certificates that I would like information on.  I know that this is a lot to ask.  Is there a site or a reference that I could go to to investigate each mining company?  Thank you for your quick answer to my initial question.

Answer
Cathy, there are no sites that will give you a free search of old certificates. With that many certificates, I suggest you enlist the help of a broker. They should be able to help you with a detailed search of each company and, if they do find there is value in any of them, they can also help you with the legal paperwork required to reorganize each one.
