I recently came across several stock certificates purchased by my grandfather. I was wondering if you had any information on the following companies, Consolidated Yukeno Mines Limited, Silanco Mining & Refining Company Limited, Valrex Gold Mines Limited, and The Cobalt Chemical & Refinery Company Limited. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Eddie, from the information I have available:

Consolidated Yukeno eventually became Gradore, which has no value as it had its charter cancelled in the early 1970's.

Silanco did a 1 for 7 reverse split, then a 1 for 5 reverse, and became Ansil Resources. Ansil is still around, but has not had its stock traded anywhere since 2000. The most recent contact information I have for them is:

Valrex has no value. It was dissolved in 1975.

I have no information at all on Cobalt Chemical and Refinery. I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can find any current information.
