Question
I currently have multiple shares in the Lee Family Mineral Trust that was being administered by the Central Guaranty Trust Company, Oil & Gas Royalty Department, in Calgary Alberta.  The last correspondence I received from them was back in March 1992, when I inquired about the status of the Trust (I received shares when my mother passed away).

I wanted to find out if there has been any activity, etc., with regard to the Trust but when I called the phone number it was no longer in service.

Can you help me find out what is going on with the Trust?

Respectfully,

Frank Solosky

Answer
Since the securities in question are a family trust, ownership in the units would have been limited to members of your family. Therefore, it is not a public security and I have no information on them.

Central Guaranty is long gone, but the assets are now part of TD and their TD Canada Trust unit. You should contact them directly and see if they have any records and information for you.
