I have a certificate(300 shares) from Greenstrike Gold Corporation.
Dated Oct.29,1985 ...number 01615
It is registered and countersigned with The Canada Trust Company, Toronto, Ontario.
Is this stock of any value?

Rosemary, from the information I have available, the company changed its name to Iatco Industries, which later became Airboss of America. Airboss is still around - they trade on the TSX for about $8.00 per share. They also pay a small dividend.

You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) to confirm the shares are valid and registered in your name. If so, they can reorganized the old shares into the new shares which can then be traded.
