Question
I have a shares certificate for Meridor Resources Limited valued at 14 shares.  The certificate states it is transferable at the office of Yorkshire Trust Company in Vancouver.  Is this still a credible company and is there any value to certificate?

Answer
Beckie, from the information I have available:

The Company merged with several others to form Hughes Lang. Meridor shareholders received 0.1623 of a Hughes share for every 1 share of Meridor. Meridor then became Cangold, and later did a 1 for 10 reverse stock split and became Amalgamated Cangold. That reverse would have eliminated your shareholding. I don't think it makes much difference, as the company later became Central Asia Goldfields, which was suspended and delisted in 1999.
