Question
I have Maralgo mines limited stock certificate #7493, 90 shares, issued Sept 1938 by tthe trusts and guarantee co.
also Hotstone Gold mines ltd, #1254,July 1946, by the sterling trusts corp.
also Ritoria mines ltd. #2040, incorporated 1937, purchased 1944, with the trusts and guarantee co. of Toronto
Can you tell me if they are of any value or how to find out?
Thank you

Answer
Pat, from the information I have available:

Maralgo has gone through numerous name changes, and at least 2 reverse stock splits (a 1 for 2, then a 1 for 5). The company reincorporated in Delaware, then stopped reporting to the SEC, which is always a bad sign. They are currently Media Pal Holdings, although I believe there has been another reverse split in there somewhere. The stock trades (rarely) for about $3.00 a share on the Pink Sheets.

Hotstone has no current value. The Company was dissolved in 1970.

Ritoria has no current value. the Company had its corporate charter cancelled in the late 1960's.
